Boxing is a physically demanding discipline with many rewards for those who dedicate themselves to training their minds and bodies.

Our boxing program starts with the basics, including: mechanics, stance, footwork, balance, coordination, powerful & straight fast snapping punches, hooks, uppercuts, combinations, and movement handling including rhythm and positioning.

Our boxing program is not only for those people who wish to compete, but also for those who wish to train like fighters and learn the discipline even if they do not have aspirations to get in the ring for competition. Our group class setting allows you to learn both the fundamentals and more advanced nuances of boxing.

In addition to the above you will also learn how to use heavy bags, how to use focus mitts, react to attacks & counter attack, and basic self defence techniques and tactics.

You will also learn technical sparring drills and how to apply your learned skills in sparring.

Our boxing classes are a fun engaging workout , ultimately designed to teach you the sweet science whether you are looking to compete in the ring or just have fun and get in shape.

Athena offers students the opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills: Fundamental drills for defensive footwork and basic offensive skills including proper form of all eight strikes.

Our group class setting allows students a space to learn both fundamental and advanced skills in an empowering environment.
